JR Mounts is an independent comic creator who has produced such comedic works as Scary Tales Noir, and Fried Pickle Noir. JR is also a songwriter, guitar player and Rush fan.

JR’s upcoming comic, Stuck In my Head will not only be a comic story, but it will include a CD of original music written and performed by JR himself.

Nerf Herder was founded in 1994 in Santa Barbara, California. Parry Gripp and Steve Sherlock (pictured above on the far right and far left respectively) are the last two founding members left in the band.

Nerf Herder combines the traditional pop-punk sounds of Green Day, Blink 182 and Bowling for Soup with lyrics centered around pop culture references and geek culture.

Last Flight to Pluto is a self-described “female fronted, original, modern prog rock band.” They’re all huge Rush fans, but upon listening to their music, you can hear not only Rush, but other influences.

Andy Richards is a very accomplished, classically trained pianist, organist and keyboard player. Rush fans will know his work from the albums “Power Windows” and “Hold Your Fire.” Rush aside, Andy has worked with The Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Grace Jones, George Michael and Annie Lennox.

Andy has also worked extensively in the film industry, playing for soundtracks as well as mixing them. His film credits include “Slumdog Millionaire”; “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”; “Frankenweenie”; “127 Hours”; and “Bridget Jones’s Diary” just to name a few.

Andy is truly an accomplished and talented musician. Interviewing him was a real treat.
